Several women tried to fix my up with male relatives until they all realized I was married, not divorced. I’m sure I would have met some nice men had I been interested. Some hospitals and community centers run new mom/child care class or mommy and me classes, the Y teaches baby swim/water safety. There’s La Leche League for breastfeeding moms. When William gets older, there are play groups. All those things generate friendships between new moms.
